Seems like a reasonable sacrifice to me!Had to sacrifice my Gen II 150 (which was in worse shape) for parts.
Those 1st gen 150s are the most beautiful amps Acoustic ever produced
How much handles do you need Clint? I'm selling my 126 combo... I might scavenge it for the white plastic band to fill up my 408, and can add the handles to the Eminence package
Yep. I have '71 150 & 150b , a dead '73 150 (now just a parts bin for my others), '73 370 (all transistors have been pulled / tested & values marked by tech, most are toast and he robbed 1 from it to fix the "71 150). Also just picked up a used GC Acoustic B200H head for $75. Had a B200 combo years ago and other than the build was shite, the amp kicked butt.Couldn't agree more!
I have two 150b's and a 150. I just can't stop accumulating them!
!
You are preserving an endangered species. I commend you Sir !Lol this has gotten a bit out of control

Putting the last efforts into completing the music room, and finally installing all these amps

This was my first real rig, it wasn't mine. It was the guitar player's in my first real band, The Reef Airesearth shaking, foundation cracking, tooth filling loosener, glass rattling, pants leg flappin' goodness. Just got the 150 back from tech. Had to sacrifice my Gen II 150 (which was in worse shape) for parts. View attachment 3520519

So you're the Geddy Lee of amp collectors?
Sorry about the relationship @StingRay85My wife thinks I had spend too much time on my music room (me trying to install and use these amp). We're getting a divorce now. Not a joke unfortunately, some of these amps will come up for sale soon. That's life. Oh and that thing about flipping Marshalls, I made 900€ on flipping a single combothat's more or less what I paid for a 270, 330 and 220 together.
