I've got a 126 I might list for sale. Sounds great. The output seems a little low to me, but I'm half deaf from my time in the army .

Impossible to say for sure, but most often a dead EQ slider usually means a problem with the inductor (coil) for that frequency. If you're lucky then resoldering the inductor's two leads might fix a cracked solder joint, but if the inductor has failed internally there's no easy fix since they're unobtanium.

The only other common problem is when the slider pots have been damaged from a sharp blow from the front and the phenolic wafer has been pushed out the back of the slider shell. If that's the case then you'll have to find another slide pot, a difficult but not impossible task.

I do actually have a 126 amp of this generation that I could cannibelize for parts. I think the pre amps were all very similar. Could that work, maybe??

Evidently the 126 & 320 used different EQ boards -- too bad, that would be the easiest thing to swap. But you're in luck! They both used the same five inductors, so you should be able to transplant just the two coils if you do end up needing them.

I should add, there should be a part number etched into the EQ's PC board. The 320's EQ board part number should be 170084B. The original 126 EQ board was part number 170076, but since I've recently become aware of a 2nd version of the 126 it's probably worth looking to see if your 126 has an '84B EQ board. If it did I'd swap the whole board rather than screwing around with individual inductors.
