Hi friends! New to Acoustic part III for me! Bought my 136 in 1982. Bought a B210 back in 2015. Today I just bought a 136! Got to wait for it to be delivered to get pictures. I am so very excited!
Welcome fellow Acoustic enthusiast. Lotsa different eras and rigs represented here.

Congratulations and welcome to the club. Are you playing guitar or bass through the 136?
I am a bassist. Of course like most of us, I dabble in guitars others, but this amp will be my music room bass amp. I have been told that the speaker was changed, so I will need to find out what speaker would have been it originally and find a proper speaker for it, but it seemed to be in great condition by the photos. I traded my original one for a Peavey 400 Series bass head!
Can't wait to see it! Ive played allot of bass amps and also own an Eden bass head, but there's something about the A.C.C. tone that just floats my boat.
I am hunting for a pic from 1982 of my original 136 and my brand new 1982 Peavey T-20FL.. It should be somewhere
Just curious, is there any interest in a working 270?
I paid $300 for it, had some minor repair/tuneup done, but never used it.
Owning a vgc 330 I would like to let go the 270.

It's here! She is a 1973 and looks to have had a refresh.
As I am noodling around with my new to me 136, I think I have made a bit of a mistake. I have tasked my brother (the picture person since we were little) to find a picture of me with my amp. I think I might have had a 126 and not a 136. As I am thinking about it more and more, I may have had a total duh moment.
Very similar combos except the 126's graphic EQ. Should sound a lot alike.

I'm a big fan of the 120 and 126 models, but, that 136 looks to be in great shape. I bet it sounds great!
I wonder if you could use a jumper cable to combine the two channels for greater tonal possibilities?
Then there is always the option of using an outboard graphic e.q. to tweek your tone.
I would use both channels with a ROS cable and one of my stereo basses!
The whole idea behind me picking it up was it was my very first amp. All options are very good, I will probably continue looking to find a picture of my original amp to verify that it was indeed a 126. Then I will start my search for it. Took me about 10 years to pull the trigger on the 136, so I am pretty patient.
