I'm another new follower - bought a LN B100c at GC for $179 recently.
I am in the process of making cosmetic mods - ivory/black MXR knobs (hate the OEMs!) and a vintage grille clothe color to match the blue graphic design. Should look positively retro! Photos forthcoming...

As a chronic refurbisher of all manner of things, I envy your potential with these finds.
Soon, I will reveal modest mods made to my B100c - retro grille cloth, retro knobs and custom Tolex riser - when completed...
You got some deals there! I'm absolutely loving my 370. Just flat out one of the best bass amps made. I recently got a chance to do a side beside comparison with a Markbass head. I've heard so much about these amps.
The 370 totally blew the Maskbass away. I basically had to max the Markbass out to even get close to the Acoustic, with the 370s controls and graphic set flat!

Anyone here ever put a JBL E140-8 in an Acoustic 118 combo amp? Thinking of trying it and interested if anyone else has.
Just swapped out the OEM no-label speaker in my B100c for a new 12" Eminence Deltalite II - just what the doctor ordered!
As recommended by a forum guru here, it is a louder amp now going from a low end 4-ohm to a high end 8-ohm driver. Wasn't expecting that but the smoothness and depth of sound IS what I expected and that was deliverd. Pedal changes are much more evident too. All upgrades are complete...
Am building a duplicate style kickback cab to put the 12" OEM speaker into as a spare/monitor/whatever...

A pic of my 220 with narrow 406 2x15 cab w/ JBL K140's (notice the overhang) ready to rock outdoors last Sunday. I put a tube Sushibox Underground Accelerator pedal in front, along with a Tech21 Q-Strip eq pedal and it sounded amazing with my 1980 Ric 4001. Had the volume on '2' and it was plenty loud.
Haven't used my 370/301 rig in a while, using a 360+300 slave with some smaller cabs on recent shows. But I decided to use the 370 set-up instead of my Sunn or Hiwatt at rehearsal yesterday, and damn I forgot how great that rig sound. Hitting the front end with a Suncoast HD-1 and Chasetone Secret Pre slams the front end of the 370, and gets some of the best grunty overdrive you can get. Need to try out the 360/300 into the 301 to A/B the 360 and 370 front ends, but the cab certainly has a big influence on that grunt. I also usually use a 301 IR when recording into my DAW, in tandem with a Sunn 2x15 IR, which is a great combo.
As mentioned, I already own a 220 and am quite happy with it, but a 370 in decent shape at a decent price has come up. Wondering if I should bother. It's not like I need the extra power, though.
According to the 370 manual, it does 205 - 230 watts rms at 4 ohms (5 and 10% distortion) and 325 - 365 watts at 2 ohms. The 220 is 125 watts rms at 4 ohms and 160 watts at 2 ohms at 5% distortion.
I'm wondering of there's a significant tone difference between the two at lower volumes.
I don't put much faith in those marketing numbers. The power sections in both amps are very similar with a slight nod to the 220 for its updated power transistors. They share the same power transformer, power supply specs, etc. The 320 added another pair of power transistors for greater power, but the architecture of the 220 more closely mirrors the 370.

Anyone able to ID this Acoustic cab? Looks like a 261 sans horn, but I can't find anything similar in documentation.

Looks like a 262 4x12 cab from the early 1970's. It's the only one I've seen like this without the horn.
Figure I'd post here before posting, I'm looking to sell my 370 rig, in good condition if anyone is interested in Southern California/LA area! Been rock solid for me, just have a move coming up!
Has anyone modded their 361 cabinet to accept standard output from a normal head (bypassing the power amp) as well as the normal 360/361 arrangement? One of the main reasons I picked up the 370 rig was to use the cab with any of my heads, but if I could reduce down to one 361 cabinet it would be a lot more versatile. I could always bypass the internal amp completely and just use the 300 to power the cab when using the 360 pre, but thought I'd ask. I'm thinking a toggle switch on the back of the cab connecting the input jack that routes either straight to the speaker, or to the power amp and then the speaker.
