Thanks for the kind words, yeah got it new back in the early ‘70’s and have taken care of it through the years, a great sounding amp, no problems! Yours is looking real good, great price! That ’51 ri must sound sweet through it. My old ’75 J has a great tone with it, like you said the Fenders and Acoustics seem to do real well together. When I first got it I transported it in an old ’66 Ford Galaxie 500 7 Litre convertible. Me and my guitarist would grab an end of the 361 bottom, lift it over the trunk and walk it up to the back seat, fit perfectly. Put the convertible top up and let the 428 fly to the gig. :D

‘Nough stories, if you need the manual or schematics for yours let me know and I’ll shoot you a copy of mine. Well that is when I get Vista to recognize my scanner, LOL! :p

Appreciate the help, I'm down in darlington/florence, sc for about a month, month and a half, so i may ask for that schematic and/or manual when i get home. Only good thing is that i can look forward to going home to my 51 ri and my 360/361:bassist::bassist::bassist:. Must have been good knowing you had that monster in your backseat with the wind against your hair :cool:. The only downside is the weight, for i am pretty scrawny.

Hey jrace,

The wind in the 7 Litre was great, I’m just glad I’ve still got some hair now! It was even better when the breeze started to kick up from the 360 on stage!! :D If in your travels you head northwest over to Charlotte, NC let me know ahead of time and I’ll have you over to the house to give the old 360 a try. Got a few other “older” models hanging around aside from myself.

8ballbass, I was like that and I'd never even tried any acoustic amps, just went on word of mouth from tb, but they are just that, awesome rigs.

TheLink Removed is a Generation 4 Acoustic cabinet made during the time right before Acoustic Control Corporation sold the company to the Wagner Group.The stock OEM speakers were Eminence speakers,there was an option to have Electro-Voice speakers. Acoustic built their cabinets from marine grade plywood in most cases.You can find more info on this and other Acoustic products on the Link Removed.

Although I had plenty of Acoustic gear already (if that is possible), I just couldn't pass up a 404 cabinet that I found in a store the other day---loaded with a fairly new EV speaker, to boot! Now, with my 220, I've got a relatively portable all-Acoustic rig! I'd have to measure to say for sure but I think that the two of them together still take up less space than my 136.

My amp set-up. B200h with a B115 and a B410 cabs. Performs
great for classic rock and the drummer doesn't step on me!...
