This rig is still the best I've ever owned/used for me. Every gig makes me smile at its awesomeness.

Pedalboard has changed somewhat since that pic got taken, btw.

Sweet Rig !

I know this sounds crazy, try putting the 15 on top of the 2x10 and see how you like the sound then.

I had a 1986? Acoustic 250 watt 15" ported combo amp paired with an ADA Bassline HX 2x10 w/horn and set it up this way. For me, it took the ever the top muddy-boomieness out, gave it warm straight-on solid punch and articulation like I had never heard before.

I play a 1989 Peavey Unity series Dyna-bass and it was the best mix of sound I have ever heard. Of course, after hauling it all to hell and gone for 16 years, like an idiot I sold that rig before I left NY. I'll try to post pics this weekend.

Of course, it's all about taste, style and preference and to each his own...plus you have total kick a-s rig already....BUT, if you are kickin' it sometime with nothing better to do....something to think about.
:)

Polytone Minibrute I: 100w, single 10" speaker and clean volume/tone for practice or small club. 20 years old but always faithful and delivering the tone.

Nemesis NC210P: 200w, 2x10 100 dB SPL. A light and very efficient, robust amp for bigger venues (I play jazz, so I'll never need 1000 watts!!!)

Markbass LMII and ATS C310X1-T2. Recently bought. The amp is juicy and the cab has a 1x10 active front speaker with 2x10 internally passive speakers (push - push); 300w-8 ohm for 98 dB SPL. A compact but way powerful and killer combination... I will start playing heavy metal, maybe... :D
