The "Bass Player Jokes" Thread

I was walking by the drum room in Guitar Center the other day... it was unusual, because instead of the usual top volume "boots in a dryer" thrashing, I heard several guys chanting "52... 52... 52... 52."

Curious, I stuck my head in and asked the drummers what they were doing. The drum counter guy (you know, the one with with the Dominoes shirt tucked into his backback) replied that they were celebrating.

I asked what they were celebrating...

"Well," he said while motioning to a completed jigsaw puzzle on the counter, "Me and the guys finished that puzzle in 52 days... on the box it says '2 to 4 years!'"

How come guitarists never catch colds?
Even viruses have pride

A guy walks into NAMM and shouts, "All guitarists are a$$holes!"
He looks around, obviously hoping for a challenge. Finally a guy comes up to him, taps him on the shoulder, and says, "Take that back!" The guy says, "Why? Are you a guitar player?"
He says, "No, I'm an a$$hole."

Why does God give guitar player solos?
To make up for their personalities
