This British company came to my attention recently, Have some interesting products seemingly high quality and value. Can't find any Stateside distributors.

This 2x10 Combo[link below] with its own built in flight case only 32lbs, 500w into 8ohms 900 into 4, great feature set may be ultimate Club/Local Touring Combo if their products sound as good as company, reviews and Artist say they do:)

Interesting idea. The frequency range is wildly optimistic, and the grill looks way too drumstick friendly, but I like it.
I think that frequency response (20 Hz to 20 KHz +/- 1 dB) has to be for the preamp -- maybe the amp -- but no way that little cab is doing it.

That said, it does look to be -- at least potentially -- a very cool little travel rig. A light, vertical 2x10 combo built into its own flight case (with lid) and capable of running an extension cab.

I can't speak to their amps or combo, but I did get to try the BPA-1 preamp alongside some pretty high-end stuff. Un-hyped but smooth and clear solid-state sound -- lows very well defined. Seemed a good value for the money.

I remember them.
Malcom Toft is the "Toft" behind Toft consoles and some of the modern Trident stuff.

The BPA-1 pedal was really nice, quite clear and with good adjustments. The idea was to get "one knob" to work as well as it possibly could. It was all small-run stuff initially.

I guess he's trying his hands at amplifiers now.

Malcolm Toft has an admirable reputation in the pro audio world, although his design approach sometimes exhibits some typically British quirkiness, IMHO. That combo looks to be pretty cool to me, and something I think would find some traction if they can find a way to effectively market and distribute it. I will note that there is no price given on the Web site, although their other products appear to be reasonably attainable. And then there's this, which doesn't exactly instill confidence:

"Due to Covid restrictions, we will release the 450-2 combo in spring 2021".

In addition to the price, I'm wondering when the current estimated release date might be.

I'm wondering about the extra speaker to take it to 900-watts from the amp. Says it provides 500-watts into the combo's internal speakers and then says it goes up to 900-watts with a 4Ω extension speaker. So, does that mean it goes down to 2 ohms and the internal speakers are already putting a 4Ω load on the amp? Or does that mean that the internal speakers are 8Ω and if you add another 8Ω speaker it will put a 4Ω load on it? I tend to think it's the second example, not the first.
