Wow. Great shot. I have always wanted to visit Destin. Over on the east coast its not so pretty (Port Canaveral), but nice none the less. And you get to spot rockets (and a dolphin).

Ocean temp on the Oregon coast is in the low 50s. Not for swimming!
(Pretty to walk along,though.)

Oh yes, the Oregon coast is beautiful. I visited last fall for the first time, we drove from Cape Disappointment down to Newport, and stayed overnight near Cannon Beach. Loved it.

Here's our beach, today. Freshwater, Lake Michigan.

The water temp of the Great Lakes is around 35-40 degrees this time of year. Survival time before death by hypothermia is approx. 20 minutes.

I try to get to Destin, Ft.Walton Beach or Orange Beach every year. I love the Gulf beaches.
