Its not quite vacation season. Plus its the middle of the week. This is between Destin & Ft Walton surrounded by a military base

Aha, that makes sense. I suppose too when you live around that year round, it's not such a big deal to go.
Around these parts, we don't have beaches that nice, but the ones we do have get overrun the moment it stops raining and temps get over 60.

70? That is cool water! Our ocean is not always clear. Plus when it is, there is nothing much to see besides sand and occasional fish swim by.
The West Coast waters are much cooler than the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico. We get the Japanese current which runs clockwise in the northern hemisphere of the Pacific. Basically, the current runs by Alaska before it comes down to Southern California.

Summer and sunny weather has finally made it to the Midwest, where we won't have to look at this for another six months at least. Yuk.

Unfortunately, we cranked up the AC in the practice room overnight, and the blasted humidity made things dicey for the first few songs. On another note, Ice Ice, Baby was never played with so much intensity.

Local visitors to one of my favorite beaches here in SoCal. (White's Cove, Catalina) The water is very blue and clear for snorkeling. The downside is the water rarely gets above 70 degrees in the summertime.

70? That’s warm!
Ocean temp on the Oregon coast is in the low 50s. Not for swimming!
(Pretty to walk along,though.)
