I hear THAT!
I actually had a brief brain fart moment the other day.
I was thinking which of my basses I could let go of to obtain some funds to buy some new Mesa PH cabs.
I thought and thought.
My 2004 Bongo HH in Lava Pearl with White Ice pg came to mind for a moment.
I then got her out of her case , plugged her into the amp.
And played for about 30 mins.
It just is too BAAAAAAAD!!!
Bongos are the needle in the haystack!
Just nothing else like them out there.
EBMM and BMW really came up with a one in a million bass!

Long story long?
I sold off my last Warwick instead and kept my Bongo :D

This is from another thread I started...but pertains to me ordering a clear pickguard for my HS.

With my Bongo being silver...and it already having a unique appearance, I came up with a "space theme."
My wife was nice enough to draw it up, and started coloring it in...until she caught the flu...or it caught her. No rush though...the pickguard just shipped out a couple of days ago.

The Russian nesting dolls idea came to me because when I was younger I always played with the ones that my godmother had. I happened to mention this in conversation with my mother-in-law, who surprisingly bought me a very nice one that she ordered & purchased from a Russian community in the UK.

....and no...I don't have a lick of Russian in me.

You have a very talented wife, she could sell her pickguard designs, I would buy one for sure!

I have my first Bongo(first EBMM bass for that matter) enroute via UPS right now. It is a gold 5 string HH model. No matter how many times I click refresh on the tracking website, it still says delivery will be Tuesday. While it has the extra low string over my beloved Warwick Corvette $$ 4, I will be curious to see how it compares on songs that do not require the low B.
