I played a new Bongo 4HH at GC last night. The price tage was $1900!!! Is that what these go for new now?

2 years ago, his Bongo had a Swamp Ash body, Maple neck and Ebony fingerboard. So perhaps new wood types again?Link Removed

the usual price is more like $1600 - $1700. the one you saw must have had some extra options like piezos or limited edition paint job.
