I wanna film a metal video in the Packard Plant. Surrounded by debris and shrapnel and rust and corrosion... METAL. \m/

Might want to hurry.

Rumor has it demolition is possible soon.

Also stay away from the far north end. The owners have hired goons trying to scare off trespassers, and they have been shooting at people.

I will post the video of it later, kinda messed up.

But... but...

Jeff Daniels told me on the radio that Michigan has a $2 billion economic development fund, and that people need to move their businesses to Michigan!

The existance of that commercial tells me that:
1. The state of Michigan took $2 billion from existing companies or individuals through taxes for this 'initiative'.
2. They don't have a business-friendly state, or they wouldn't have to advertise and bribe to try to get people to move their business there.
3. After you get your initial grant and spend it, you'll probably find yourself running a business in a non-business friendly state.
4. In summary, they still don't 'get it' and could have done a lot more to revitalize Michigan by making it more business-friendly, and done it a lot more cheaply by becoming less expensive and less intrusive to businesses rather than using temporary bribes to draw short-sighted business owners there.

BTW, my brother just moved back from Michigan to PA last month.
