i've also been blessed to have a cheese shop located near campus, and they really make good cheese, and they sell some really good combinations like chocolate cheese and cranberry cheese (where they put pieces of cranberry in jack cheese! --really really good!)

My favorite snack is string-cheese.
I also like parmigiano-reggiano, coby-jack, questo blanco (in enchiladas) and queso oaxaca (in quesadillas) and queso cotija (in tacos).

I like Munster a lot, and I like stuff with Feta cheese in it. And Provel, of course, since it is essential to the St. Louis style pizza.

Alas, I love cheese too but fear I am allergic, I have to take my cheese in limited doses. And extra sharp aged Cheddar is a great place to start.
hilarious!anyway, i like provalone or swiss on my cold sandwiches and good ol' american on the hot ones (melts best, best flavor, imo). On crackers, cheddar, brie, or goat cheese. Top notch!
whoever was talking about the cranberry cheese, you have to try this:
cranberry goat cheese + 1/2 dried fig + thin cracker
