So,say there's this chick you like and you have no common friends.Would you go up to her and say how you feel and how lucky she is or would you go to a friend of hers and start making a connection there?

I'm lost,after a terrible break up period with ridicilously abusing alcohol I lost so many brain cells.I'm trying to get back in the game.Share your thoughts with this drunkard TB.;)

Why the hell are you asking questions here when you should be talking with this new chick?? Break up's over, your period of mourning is done, now it's time to get out there and start obtaining tail!!

Go talk to her. Nobody likes the possibility of being rejected, but the possibility of dying alone should outweigh that small discomfort. Put it in perspective and go do it. If she turns you down, what did you lose? Nothing.

But yea,the worst thing that can happen is I'd continue my life as it were.(Other then the crazy jelous bofriend that I don't know about killing me and stuff:p)

Talk to her and be straightforward. Your name, her name, would you like to go grab a coffee (or drink). If she says, "now?" say yes. If she can't, set up a time right then & get her number. If she has a bf, politely split ("oh well, my loss"). If she doesn't but isn't going for it, move on.

This is all misguided advice, IMO. Obviously, you want to be able to sac-up and go talk to her. BUT, if you aren't the kind of guy that can get a girl's interest right off the bat, you might be better off stepping around it. Keep in mind, if you puss around it now, you might puss around it forever, so I would still go for the direct approach. But if you've done the direct approach many a times before without it working, you should take the scenic route.

Or, at the very least, go buy a carrot and push it up your butt.
