Don't pussyfoot it, ask the girl, or buy yourself a carrot.

Better yet offer her your carrot ;)

Haven't seen her yet.:hmm:

I've never done this, all my relationships started when I knew the chicks and developed from there.I'm a confident guy,its just I never did anything like this before and it feels weird.:)

Shoot man, go do some trial runs on ladies at the store or at the park or something. If you've got trouble with talking to ladies (or this particular one) just don't open with "Hey wanna do the Hokey Pokie?" or "Would you like to play with my Hackey Sack".:D

If all else fails use my line "I got a Benjamin, where can we meet later?" ;)

:D

God Bless, Ray

As a "project" when I was in college and gigging a lot, during a gig I once made it a point on a break to go into the audience on the first break and make a list of the 20 obviously unaccompanied females in the club that I found attractive, and a mental list of the most attractive to me in order from most to least.

The second break, I went to the #1 girl on the list and asked point blank if she wished to "go home with me" tonight.

Now, I wasn't crude, nor was I obtuse - it was very clear what I was asking, but not crass or rude, just "direct" and polite as possible under the circumstances.

#1 said no, thanks, but was not offended...

I won't go in order, mainly because I cannot remember all of the exact details, but I can remember quite well the "breakdown" from there forward:

Of the 20 that I spoke to -

11 replied no without being offended
2 replied NO and were offended (1 actually tried to strike me! :spit: ;) )

AND SEVEN SAID YES! (For the "historical record", this was the mid-80's, so it was neither a particularly "loose" time, nor a particularly "uptight" time)

Now, the odds here are not incredible, but there is a lesson, for single guys. Shoot high, but never be shot down.

...oh, and yeah, I did take one "home", I'm thinking it was the 3rd or 4th girl I spoke to. That night...other nights other "numbers"...

:ninja:

7 out of 20 cold calls is a pretty good ratio. Sure, it might have had something to do with you being in the band, but thats an advantage pretty much everyone on this board has.

Thanks Eric,I feel a lot better.:spit:

Man,this thread sound desperate but I'm not,its just something I've never done before,I usually don't like chicks I don't know.:p

Every girl is a 'chick you don't know' at some point. If you feel the need to know a chick before becoming interested in her, then might I suggest you begin introducing yourself to more chicks.

I say just do it.What's the worst that can happen...she says no? Big Deal.

I'm going through a break up myself, but it isn't anything crazy, we're just going our separate ways because we've come to the conclusion that we can't give each other what we need anymore. I stayed the same, she changed, big time.

I'm not getting any younger, just turned 35 last saturday. I don't have time for "should I talk to her" questions. I'll just go do it.

Good point,I should go and get to know 'em all.:p

You don't have to know them to have sex with them. Although, I would recommend getting to know their names. It's always awkward when they realize afterwards that you don't know their name. Also on that note, don't EVER try guessing their name. That never ends well. Trust me on this one. :scowl:

OP, Maki's advice may just get you cut if those girls don't know about each other and are amenable to sharing. Just sayin'. You know how we women are, all possessive and ish when we "think" we're your girlfriend. :D

Just talk to her. If she's cool you may have a new friend. If she's a jerk just because you're introducing yourself, you've likely dodged a bullet of craziness. Be thankful and move to the next.

Wait. Don't tell me. It's Lisa, right? Hahaha, I was just joking. It's Jennifer. Right? Paula? Liz? Samantha? ;)

+1 This is exactly where I'm at in my life, but I'm 33.
