Wow! Plus, bonus tracks after each posted track, too! Complete with banjitar! Or is it a guitjo? Well, a guitar neck with a banjo body gives that banjo sound, just the same.

Oops! I was trying to post individual tracks but it brought up the rest from those 2 concerts. Oh, well.
I agree with all comments above. A blast from the past when groups of musicians could get together, at a safe social distance obviously, and entertain the peoples.
I really like the bass guitar being used through the Kasino though. I wanna say there’s a lefty version of that at like ten quadrillion dollars, but I found an Epi EB-O, I think that’s it, for two-sixty-nine somewhere. Thought to myself, could I flip it around, change the nut, add some Chromes, and rock out? It’s symmetrical and I’m not gonna to worry about the tone and volume controls anyway.

I loaned my Gibby EB-3 to a guy who strung and played it lefty 'til he could get his own bass back in the early '70's.
I saw some of those on the amazing Amazon this morning. I’d categorize it with the Sawtooths, Ammoons, Ginkas, and other Chinese brands being offered. I’ll take a look though, but will pass if it’s gonna take another $400 to get it to play.
DHgate seems to be the distributor. If anyone has bought from them, please let us know.

That EB-0 makes me think of that too. I think it’d work, but have to decide if the Epi is worth the small amount of dough or not. Might be fun.
You'll notice that in the tunes with the guitjo, we're dressed differently and I'm playing through[what used to was] my Kustom 150.
In our jugband and on musical instrument sites, they just call them 6 string banjos. Strung and tuned like a standard 6 string guitar but with the tone and character of a banjo. Quality varies greatly, commensurate with price...sort of fun to play and really gets the sound we need without having to learn to play A real 5 string banjo.
Yep, Bruce just calls his a banjo, but I was amused by G-Dog's "guitjo" so thought I'd use in reply.

I'm up late cruising for a birthday gift and happened to finally locate DHgate.com. It's like Walmart for guitars. Everything under the sun and built to sell for pennies. They seem to copy the designs of our favorites, slap it together, and sell it wholesale. Well, the soon-to-be birthday boy decided on his gift for the big 6-0. I took a serious look at the Ibanez Mikro bass for a fun way to get a PJ that's actually left-handed and under two bills, and I may give it another look down the road. The thing is, as I'm constantly saying to myself, I really don't need a bass right now, but i could still use a pedalboard.
So I borrowed the idea from our buddy C7's board and went with Voodoo Labs' Dingbat 4-pedal board with their X4 power supply, and an Electro-Harmonix Bass Clone chorus pedal to boot. That'll go with my Digitech Hardwire tuner, TC Spectra Comp, and a TC Mojo Mojo OD. Done. The EHX will probably sit in the effects loop so I can get a little tubey goodness when it's running through the Terror Bass. Otherwise, I'll use the Stage 800 and enjoy the all-rolled-up-into-one flavor.
Then, like with you all, I only need to actually play music with other humans...

This whatever it is we're going through occurred on the eve of the local blues association night of bands auditioning for the summer blues festival. It's a full weekend of blues outdoors originally scheduled this month. Bzzzzt wrong.

Yes, I noticed the different clothes and your li'l Kustom 150, like this, but the same venue & lighting made a smooth transition and coulda fooled some people, but not this ol' buzzard.
Yeah, I didn't know the proper name for that instrument, so I did a little research and liked this guy, who also didn't know the proper name. But he mentioned several near the beginning. I think I prefer "banjar"!

Agree. If you go back a few pages, Cracker7 displayed one when he was showing off is late friend, the Ampeg BA-210 v2. Knowing nothing about boards, I wrote and asked him about it and was quite positive about the Dingbat.
So I did some research and read where it’s got an excellent reputation, plus it came as a package with the power supply added on. It’s small, but for my first venture into the separate pedal world, I figured it would suffice for now.
I’m still gonna use my Zoom B1on on occasion through the effects loop because, much to my surprise, it sounded as good as I’d ever heard it before. It’s got a TC Tri-Chorus I really like for that once in a blue moon use.
It’ll be here in two days and is broken down to four measly payments. What not to love? Sixty isn’t starting out too bad and I have until Saturday before it’s official!
The way Bruce plays his, he can call it a glockenspiel if he wants to.
