Why chains when you can use rope?
I only suggested chains because ropes are not approved in CA for driving in snow. But, then again, either is salt so, who knows? I don't drive in that stuff anymore (anyway).

Why chains when you can use rope?
Aaaarrrgggghhhh!!!! WHY did I HAVE to go to the CME website this afternoon!!!
I heard their Ampeg RB combos had been pushed back to July. My order is with Sweetwater, so still on track for this month I think...But of course I SAW THIS!!!

Ive GASsed on and off for a VI for years.. Jack Bruce, Roy Babbington with Soft Machine, Glen Campbell’s solo on Witchta Lineman, Jack Nitzche “Lonley Surfer” you know....Somehow managed to resist the pull.
Now this- Shell Pink with matching headstock and block inlays. Can’t. Resist. Have it in a cart now. Preorder for Dec delivery.
I’ll bet it would sound killer with a set of flats going through the Rocket RB115.
I fear I may be toast on this one- I’ll keep you posted
p.s. saw it is also coming to Anderton’s across the pond as well- teamed up w/ CME on a few nice FSR run Squiers.
It's like delivering drinks, but you'll be delivering my sound on demand. You will be employed 24/7 and earn a percentage of the customer's generosity.
Don’t forget Woburn a couple exits south on 128. It’s Woo-bun...and out a bit west, Worcester- Drop the terminal R for authentic pronunciation- Woo’-stah.
Wicked Pissah(I’m from that area- Salem, MA!). Go up 128 to Cape Ann and Ipswich to get THE best fried clams- J.T. Farnhams.View attachment 4270005
Except when you are playing them.

Well-spoken, SR. I’m well familiar with both types of clams!![]()
jb_5, how the heck did I miss you this past week? A thousand apologies to you and to your BA210 v2. Please accept our offer to join the coolest combo club this side of TB.
I’m assuming your combo is on order, and as soon as it shows up take a pic and post it. When ya do I’ll offer you a membership number and my gratitude.
Keep us posted about your journey with that new combo, which by the way is one terrific-sounding amp.
Tele, you are leading a most interesting musical life. So that’s what Glen Campbell used in Wichita Lineman. Very rich-sounding, as I remember. Go for it!
Backordered to July? Ouch! I’ll have to check what zZounds says, if anything. Obviously a case of not enough of a good thing. Patience is a virtue, people.
I saw that too where Anderton’s And CME joined forces to defeat its foes from around the world by offering more Squiers.
Keep us posted on when your RB gets to your house. I’m dying to know your (and other’s) impressions.

Too bad I can't put my clams into a chowder. I could make a fortune...

Ah. Never seen an A.P. movie.Yes. There's a bit in the second Austin powers movie featuring some twins name Fuk-Me and Fuk-Yu.![]()

You need to...”Care for a drink, Mr. Powers??”
It’s a MAN, Baby!
No. It was the 90s and part of the comedy is his 60s worldview clashing with modern sensibilities. This ain’t As You Like It. But it’s a good laugh. Not exactly P.C., is he.
I’d buy a can of it. You could call it “Soul Reflection’s Clam Chowdah...Decades in the Making”

I do fresh clams daily
.If I have anything even worth quoting, you have my sincere permission to quote it. Maybe we should start a Big Book of Bass Quotes from the Combo Club. Or not...I can go either way with it.![]()
