Justin Chancellor looks pretty cool to me.
Especially with his new short hair and long beard:
Then again another of my favorite bassists Bill Laswell looked pretty cool too in the ridiculous renesence sculpture/painter outfit that seemed to be his trademark.
Couldn't find any pictures of him in that attire on google though, apparently he changed style, still looks cool though:

Although I can agree that he plays a mean bass and is among my favorite bass players too, I must admit I always considered him somewhat goofy looking.
I guess you don't pick how you look though, he got lucky in the talent department at least which I agree matters so much more anyway.

Watched a live Toto performance yesterday on TV and my vote has t go to Lee Sklar. Great bass player straight outta Lord of the Rings; no one does Gandalf as well as Lee Sklar.
Also he's been mentioned a few times but Phil Lynott has to be one of the coolest cats ever with bass.
