The Coolest P-Bass Solo?

Not really a solo, but Andy Fraser's groove on "All Right Now" by Free is simple, yet hard to replicate correctly. I believe it was P bass.
Andy Fraser used Gibson basses during his time with Free. I'm pretty sure All Right Now is a Gibson EB-3 as was his extended solo in "Mr. Big".
BTW the secret to playing the bass break on "All Right Now" is to pedal the open A while playing the upper register notes that outline the G and D major chords. A lot of players leave that out.

I'm pretty certain this was a Jazz Bass, although Phil Chen did use Precisions too.

I always thought it sounded like a Jazz but I thought I read someplace years ago that he said it was a P Bass.

Horace Panter is featured here - not really a solo, but a lead lick - sweet slap tone, but the chorus has a driving finger style tone that is just wicked.

I was in Allex Cooley's Agora Ballroom..mid 70's.
Goddard was at the bar..alone.. enjoying a drink..
Fearless and foolish.. I approached him.
I introduced myself.. He was very cordial. Anyhow..As a Rick Player since early 70's, I told him I was very into HIS sound..knew what he was looking for. I sugested that he try a Rickenbacker 4001 , strung with Rotosound 66 Swing Bass rounds.
He smiled and thanked me..I left.. he went back to his drink.
Next time I saw him was at Champagne Jam at Grant Field.. Wielding a Rick full of zing through double cab S V T.

That ain't no P bass...
My vote goes for Entwistle, Live at Leeds - in particular My Generation, but pan the stereo to the left and you have an hour long bass solo.
