Of the three listed, gotta go with Byron Miller. That is just some downright nasty funk soloing.

The tone for the solo at the end is exactly how a p bass should sound, IMO. From youtube videos it looks like he plays everything with just his thumb (old school double thumb style).

Not sure how to post the youtube link, and yes it is a Precision with a back pickup added, but it is still a Precision, and it is still a phenominal solo.
Andrews is awesome. That said & for the argument of this Thread-
If it still has the P-pickup with the added Jazz bridge pickup...that would be a PJ bass...and no, it's not still a P-bass! FME.
I forget: Does Andrews' bass mod have a P-neck or a Jazz neck?
