Ahab is ****in fantastic, The bassist from Swallow the sun has to be my favorite though. I saw them about a month ago and i was pretty surprised at what he was capable of; he does a lot of improv stuff live, and its very good.

Ahab is ****in fantastic, The bassist from Swallow the sun has to be my favorite though. I saw them about a month ago and i was pretty surprised at what he was capable of; he does a lot of improv stuff live, and its very good.
Tried their myspace, but to me, the bass wasn't audible at all, so I guess double bass or not makes little difference 
I remember hearing a live video from them once and the bass sound was huge! I know what your saying about the myspace recordings though, not bassy at all. I hope when they release their debut that the bass is mixed well.
