It's a giant argument from incredulity coupled with a lack of understanding of basic physics. They will tell you that they understand the heliocentric model better than "globers" do yet will say stuff like, "How can gravity be strong enough to hold the ocean down and curve its surface yet weak enough to allow birds to fly?" Which of course, is perfectly consistent with our understanding of how gravity works and indicates that no, they do not understand it.

Or equating the "vacuum" of space with Megamaid.

Whenever I’m in the mood for a laugh I visit Youtube and check out some of the flat Earth videos - Facebook is also entertaining. I still can’t figure out if they’re sincere or having a laugh themselves. The arguments and explanations are so entertaining. I recommend it for a bit of entertainment. The NASA conspiracies, the ice wall (don’t they know about aircraft?) go have a look, you’ll be entertained and amazed.
