i'll probably just use a 4 way toggle switch. This project is already over my head.

The idea is I am building an Oscillator from Music from outer space Link Removed but I am putting it in a pedal enclosure and doing some slight additions. I am adding a master output, so that in addition to the outputs for each wave from there is one output with the four way toggle. there will also be a true bypass switch. This way I can plug my bass into the oscillator sync input, and have it come out the main out, bypassed. when the pedal is engaged the output will have the oscillator signal and a pot to blend in some clean bass. This way I can use it has a stand alone pedal, (with a CV expression pedal) or as a modular synth unit. I mainly want this so that I can use different waveforms as my carrier frequency with my moogerfooger ringmod and get a lot of new sounds. It would be awesome if the unit could step through different waveforms in time, but that will be for another time, or maybe another person.

I made my to-be MIDI pedalboard controller in Google Sketchup! It is a lot of fun, I even made a video of the pedalboard with the actual pedals and everything. It isn't EXACT as in, I didn't take the time to map out the curvy parts, but it is exact in terms of measurements. So now I know it will fit perfectly and the exact sizes to cut the wood.

Basically, it's an amp mute switch turned utility pedal.

The mute is actually a discrete unit based off of a DPDT switch connected to a stereo out jack and then run to my amp via a cord.

I've been working out a wiring scheme for Version3 which is the all inclusive version and I was hoping a few fresh sets of eyes could see if this looks like a viable wiring scheme or if I'm missing something really obvious.

Hey guys.
My friends made me a A/B line selector pedal that switches between 2 pedals.
The problem im having is that my overdrive is in one of the lines and it bleeds through a bit.
Another problem im having is that the bypass LED often flickers and stays on even when disengaged.
If anyone can help me i'd greatly appreciate it.

It works passively, It has 2 return/sends where i split 2 signals to switch between 2 pedals and an input and output for amp and guitar. 1 stomp for A/B selecting and 1 Stomp for bypass.

Splitting a signal passively and properly requires a transformer. If it doesn't have transformers then simply soldering two wires to one jack to split a signal is a poor method and will result in the symptoms you're describing.

As for the LED flickering - could be a wire touching the grounded chassis or a dodgy switch, something like that.

I've been looking into building a woolly mammoth clone recently, Ive tracked down a layout and parts list but I still have some questions. Here is the layout Ive been studying

Here's my first question, what kind of board is that? Ive looked at a few tutorials on building pedals on perfboard but this board looks slightly different.

Also, I know there are 3 leads on the silicon transistors, are these leads supposed to go in a row? I.E. for Q1 would the leads go in 53, 5F, and 5G?

One more question, on the layout what does the small red circles inside of red squares mean?

That's stripboard, sometimes called Vero board. Each row is connected by a copper trace. The red circles are probably points where the trace has to be drilled out.

You're probably right about the transistors, but make sure you look at the spec sheet because every transistor has a different leg for the base, collector and emitter.
