You don't want an Epi T-bird neck. They're god damn heavy and long as hell.

yeah, i know, but is part of the look;)

i was thinking about ussing a mahogany body to get a closer tone of the real one but with a maple neck (i wouldn't want it with a fender stile neck).

maybe is easier to buy a goth, sand it, an refinish it in pellum blue :p... or maybe a japanese one... i just want a mahogany tbird in blue with crome hardware:hmm::help:

this is my epiphone thunderbird it used to be tobacco burst which i hated so i airbrushed it up with a few pictures of my fave ww1 fighter pilot 10 points to the man who can guess who it is
i put a few latin phrases on the back too i hardly use it though and to be honest i'm thinkin of selling it

Here's my now Leftybird. I love the tone, its everything I've wanted. I kinda wish I waited to get this though, I could've gotten an ebony or pellum blue if I waited three more months. Meh, its alright though. I would never give this one up.

Spent the last month getting it re-stung so I could play it (got it Christmas of 06 though, waited a long time). I don't like the strap position on the lower horn, it still dives. I'll just put it at the neck like most. All thats left is the aforementioned strap button placement and lowering the action plus a basic setup.

I was wondering if you can put an epi tbird neck into a warmoth tbird body?

how different is the neck pocket on the warmoth body?

by the way, i love those pellum blue tbirds

I'm actually planning on getting a warmoth body and having Michael Dolan build a neck for it...

If I'm gonna replace the pups in my T-Bird, I'm only gonna replace them with Gibsons. Kind of a silly little rule I have. Same is true with my MIM Fenders. If I'm gonna replace the pups, I'm gonna replace them with MIA Fenders (probably custom shop-vintage)The only exception that I might make to that rule is when I get the OLP. I know that EBMM pups are not available over the counter. So if I find a third party, like Duncan that sounds more like the EBMM pups than the OLPs, I may be tempted, but I know how good those OLPs are, so I doubt I'll replace them (unless, of course, I actually do stumble upon a genuine EBMM pup) And when I get the rickenbacker, there'll be no pickup swapping! :)

Okay, some numbers:

Dreadhead #12 (how much did that airbrushing cost?)
Dark Reaver #13
Coward of Reali #14
Sharp Objects #15

Tender Prey, why did you sell both?
