Double Bass The EUB Bridge

Does the wood quality of an EUB bridge matter in the same way as the bridge on an acoustic DB?---On a DB the better wood quality matters for good tone /volume---whereas the EUB is depends very much on the pickup used.

Your opinions on the bridge quality on the EUB welcome.

Depends on whether you're talking about magnetic or piezo pickups.
With magnetics, refer any discussion about bridges and tone on slab bass.
With piezos, on the other hand - yes, for tone it's absolutely a factor!

...how much of a factor is a different question, and now we're in tonewood territory.
