My favorite bassist is Spider Sinnaeve...if you have never heard Action, Under my Thumb or Hollywood by Streetheart you are in for a sweet surprise. Try to get live versions...whew.Amazing..all while flying through the air.

Cliff Burton would have to be my all time favorite if I had to choose. He was one crazy finger plucking bassist. Anesthia (Pulling Teeth) was one awesome bass solo too.

My favorites are bassed on people that made me notice the bass player before I played bass. Not mainly based on really sick skills although some really have sick skills.

They had very creative lines that stood out and really complimented the song or played way out there in front of the band, they played in the realm that was usually occupied by a guitar.
