The Fender Green Team

Well I can't really say that I'm all that crazy about green as a colour (much prefer pretty much anything else above it other than black for a bass) but sometimes you just have to go with what you like in a bass and damn the colour.
My newest addition to the Fender Green Team is a American Pro II in Mystic Surf Green with modded EMG pickups and WD green mirror pick guard (I didn't do the mods so don't blame me).
They join the MIJ Silent Siren Jazz (Surf Green) and the MIJ BOXER SERIES PJ in Sherwood Green Metallic.
I threw my good buddy's MIJ 1980s Strat into the family photo just because it just seemed to fit in.
I would have to say that the least objectionable (to me anyway) in color is the Pro II Mystic Surf Green just because it's a bit more understated (or was anyway until someone slipped on the green mirror pick guard.

i think it looks grand! seriously, i'd rock that color anytime!

i have numerous posts from several years back attesting to my preference for black axes (i still like black!), and dropping shade on more colorful renditions --- but all of that changed a half dozen years ago, and now i like 'em all!

My first-ever green bass, a 2013 Fender American Standard Jazz in Jade Pearl Metallic.

Sadly, I had to sell it for financial reasons, but I'm seriously considering having one of my parts-basses refinished in a similar color, probably Subaru's Autumn Green Metallic. I love how the colors shift and the faint gold-flake pops depending on the available light.

But, in the meantime, I also have this lovely Fender Player Plus Top in a limited edition Flamed Maple Green Burst.
