Nice setup....found that I liked the SWR Megoliath (8x10) with the Fender 300 head and P bass...wow...
Have fun and remember it goes to 11!
I don’t want to talk about that! That's a funny looking P bass you got there in your profile pic!!
Kidding!

achieves the ultimate bass tone. I did the whole search and once I did a Fender P + Ampeg SVT and Fridge it ended. Such a classic combo. Solid Fender P + SVT and Fridge is the standard for a reason. I played all the bass classics, several rig combos and basses and just grab an SVT CL, Fridge, good Fender P. Cereal.
It was a long time before I was able to get the rig. However, I also sold one and know how hard they are to unload so if you really want a classic Ampeg stack, watch your local want ads and be patient. Some one will come along selling the whole thing for 1200.That's a classic tone, undoubtedly.
I never had any of them. Someday, perhaps. In the meantime I'm having a lot of fun with other basses and other tones.
Do we have the same bass? That thing rules! It edged out the competition in my bass collection.Nope. Whiskey clouds your judgment. I love tube SVTs too but when I sobered up I found this.
I kid of course, your rig is awesome and clearly I love the bass too! That cord though. It is great when you finally find what does it for you and at least surpresses GAS!

Yeah. It's an AV63 from that great last run Fender did. There is something special about the pick up on that thing. It's the only P bass of my several that I keep rounds on. It just sounds so good.Do we have the same bass? That thing rules! It edged out the competition in my bass collection.
HEY MAN!!! Where can I get a guitar stand like that? One that hangs from the side of the cabinet. That's nice and convenient. Nice rig as well!

Rounds. I really like the Fender mediums. I didn’t want anything to change from my first string change.A Precision is almost certainly the best bass at getting a Precision bass tone that is the ultimate bass tone when you want one that sounds exactly like a Precision. Unless it's active with less standard pickups in, in which case it is not a very Precisiony Precision and isn't precisely what is needed.
Oh... Flats or rounds?
Awesome. Thanks for the info! That guitar/bass hanger is Called "The Bass Hanger", https://www.basshanger.com/, there seems to be a availability problem,Anyone know what happened to Bass Hanger?
