I’ve always been more of a 10’s guy too until I got the Bassman 115. I also have the Bassman 410 which is awesome and I have a Bassman 100T and a SB 300.

I like the 410 and use it for larger rooms and outdoor gigs. I use the 115 for most of my gigs which are smaller to medium sized rooms. I love the 115 with the Bassman heads. It has such a warm and solid swat that I prefer it to the 410 for my traditional rock gig. I tried using the 410 and 115 together and wasn’t pleased with the sound. I have a Berg 610 that is the perfect match for the SB but it’s too heavy for me to carry and is probably overkill for most of what I do.

If I were to get another cab it would be the Bassman 610 or another Bassman 115 to match with the one I have. I’m recovering from back surgery now and will wait and see how that goes before I give serious consideration to more gear.

Great info, thanks!!

My plan with the 115 would be to have the either/or scenario. 410 for some gigs, 115 for others, stack both but only plug in the 410 for our big outdoor stuff. I’ve got room in my trailer to transport both, so, why not?

I’ve got the 410 coming from zZounds already, and have the 115 in my cart at MF, just gotta decide to pull the trigger.

Agree with all that, but don't tried the 410 myself. Unless my memory fails me :rolleyes:
The Bassman cabs certainly do sound fantastic with the Super Bassman pushing em. But I also like my V4B into the one or 2 Bassman 115s. But... and that is, just how I like em too, a real BIG BUT:hyper: there is nothing like the Super Bassman- for me, running that 115, even just the one 115 and it SLAMS. A real solid ..t...err swat! I've come so fond of having the SB pushing just the one 115, that even on gigs where the 2 115s would certainly be handy and not outta place, I've used just the one. Nice to push the SB that little bit harder.
Where I DO use and need the 2 115s is when the V4B is used. That amp really benefits from the 2x15s. They go loud, those Bassman 115s:thumbsup:

Also ordered a double padded clamshell cover for the head, and padded covers for each cab, from Studio Slips.

Call me paranoid, but I would really like a light weight hard case for my SB300. I have a custom made TLC soft cover, which is fine, but I am always worried about something moving in the back of the car and hitting the face.

I want a front and back removable, but not heavy duty. Something like a Ragone drum case weight. Cut out holes for the side handles, holes for the feet so you could slide it on and screw the feet back on to hold it in position, and a latched front and back face.

Has anyone seen a product like this?

I've only got a vinyl dust cover for mine, but that's all I've ever had for my tube amps, ever since 1978, no probs so far..... touch wood. (Knocks head:) )

bum! Thought I hadda pic of the SB300 in its cover, but it's the Bassman 115 in above pic, with the SB on it.
Same as the 115s cover tho, bought em from same place

Huge favor to ask anyone with the Neo 115 and the Neo 410:

I need to confirm the handle placement with Studio Slips before they’ll make my covers.

Basically, I need to know how far from the top the handle starts, how far from the front and from the back, and how big the handle is.

I’d appreciate it greatly!!

I'm not sure my measurements will help you. The handles on mine are the recessed steel bar handles like the ones imaged on the Fender website for Rumble specs. The website also specs the "spring loaded handles" on the Bassman Neos now. (My older Rumble 150 v2 has the spring loaded handles and I detest them!) You might want to wait until you actually have your cabs in hand and find out what handles you have and where before ordering covers for them.

I would wait as well. Both of my 410 neos have the recessed bar handles but are quite different from each other.
