Gotta love the Fender transferable warranty! I got a whole new auto bias module, and it is working. Still sounds great.

Has anybody taken the time to try out the new Fender 115 Neo with the Super Bassman? I know some are playing with 115s and 215s that are non Fenders with great success. So if you have tried the Fender 115 neo....do tell of what you thought of the experience? And yes I did post a thread about this very subject but there were no responses so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks

Sorry. I've only used mine with my one or two 3015 loaded Ampeg PF115HE cabs. It sounds GREAT with either one or two also. They are neo drivers and sealedenclosures. But, I've not tried the Fender neo 115.

Thanks liam & rodl. I did check out the 100 watters and what I gathered was that some liked and others were not impressed. And one even spake of 'chuffing'.
I'm currently using my two Traynor TC115s and they're doing great but I'm wondering if the Fender 115 Neo has a nice mojo of it's own. And on the vanity side..... the ole matching rig thang would be nice too. So I may just have to bite the bullet in the not too distant future and give one a try by way of the ole plastic fantastic.

If your back is up to it, Aguilar's DB 115 is an option in the matching department.

If I was liquid 
(I spose 70%of me is, but financially speaking) I'd have 2 of the neo 115's that'd make a huge sounding and modular and versatile rig. With the SB300 that is.
I've had a bit of a drought gig wise of late
but Aug thru Jan is pretty booked up.
Really looking forward to doing some big rooms and vocal pa only (hence bass rig covers room) gigs with the SB300 /NV412 OR 2x modded PF115HE rig.

Part reason for lack a cash apart from a slow 6 weeks of gigs, is my marriage of 22 yrs broke up a Cuppla months ago ( we both just "evolved apart") and so as I've been living in all sorts of places
I'm most often taking the smallest, lightest option. So the TH500 & 1× PF115HE is mousy often with me.
Last night-county band rehearsal- took 2 AE112'S & TH500. Was nice to break out the li'l Bergs:thumbup:

20 somethin myself. Great amp head though. The Frank Zappa quote gives me perspective though. Won't misquote it. But will research it, and get back to you.

Hey rastap I like the Agies but they're a bit on the heavy side for me. I'm thinkin of trying a Fender neo 115 out in Sept and A/B it with the Traynor TC115. If the Traynor wins I'll just have Mojo in the States make up a couple of baffles with Fender grill cloth for them. Mojo does great work and they're reasonably priced. If the Fender wins it'll be a matter of no lunch until Xmas as I will be purchasing 2 of them.

So I've had my super bassman for Almost 1 year now and initially I had a couple small problems and had to have it repaired (bad tube and bad ribbon cable) but since then I've done quite a bit of cross cross country touring and It's held up great.
Basically I just wanted to say its by far my favourite amp I've ever owned or played! It's really nice not to have any gas at all for other amps.
If anyone in the Toronto area wants to give it a try feel free to PM and ill gladly let you test drive it!

agree Denton. I used to gas for a SVT-VR, now I know I've got an amp that'll gimme all that and lots more. :thumbup:

where in mexico are these lines of amps made? Maybe if fender was a little smarter, they would get an American factory going in Detroit (for example) and more people would want them! Provided they sold them cheap enough to justify having to potentially re-solder everything with some halfway real solder!
whats with the "re-soldering" comment? is this something thats actually being needed? i dont get the reference.
no ones talking.. not sure if Mexico allows real solder in manufacturing.. that is why I ask.. I know Detroit probably doesn't allow it.. Probably just one of the reasons why a lot of our Cities are Dying..
