No need for a number, just showin' pics. Here's my 78 P and a franken P fretless with an ebony cello finger board.

Hi madbassist666
I apologies for the delay in my response to your question, holydays and all.
I think I’ll already answer this on back on page 13.:)

Hi aikakone
Yes, I’m quite pleased with the look, so far. :smug:
I really like the transparent color on yours, really nice that one.

Really dig the Picasso/freakout vibe of this bass! So playful compared to the staid, conservative finishes frequently seen on instruments. Did the cello fingerboard require much modifying to attach it to the neck? What's the bridge pickup?

afinalfantasy: Is it hard? Not really. The tricky part is intonation, and practicing the right way helps cure that. IIRC Squire fretless basses have lines, that also helps.

indvoice: Ask not what the number actually does, but what you can do with the number. Mostly, you can add it to your profile signature so everyone knows how cool you are because you have been accepted into a club. Maybe we should develop an initiation rite. Oh! I got it, you must own a fretless bass and be able to play the first note of Jaco's Continuum.
