Hey people.
I thought it'd be a good idea to get in on the fretless action. I've just bought a Yamaha TRB1005F from a friend but haven't taken any pictures of it yet (will post soon).
Very new to fretless so far, so at the moment there's a lot of searching for the right intonation. Much training to do. I'm sure everyone's been there at some point?

Beautiful! A piece of gaff tape on the headstock would qualify it for None More Black status.

this is My 94 streamer bolt on fretless (defretted) with bartolinis and Aguilar OBP3 preamp and La Bella black nylon strings. but i going to put D'Addario string Chromes Flatwound Strings soon.
body of French cherry wood and 7 ply neck - maple and bubinga - and wenge fingerboard.
i also have two other fretless basses - big basses

i get well with my Palatino, but now that i have the KAY acoustic upright i prefer to play it.
and I'm not doing any gigs with the upright right now, so i barley play the Palatino . but i think its a keeper and very nice instrument.
i did some modes as can be seen at the Palatino Megathread.
i did a pad for the side support.
i carved the bridge and put rubber pad at the pickup, made the cymbal stand and sanded the back of the neck, changed strings and replaced the tail piece with stranded cable.
all is written at the Palatino Megathread.
of course why not?
last summer i had the great honor to be the guest of the Warwick framus company at the framus museum opening event at Markenkirchen Germany.
the visit included a factory tour and some nice gifts - and the mini streamer was one of the gifts and a souvenir from Warwick owner Hans Peter Wilfer.

'96 G&L L-1500. On it's way to Mike Lull's shop in a week or so for a neck leveling and complete setup. I'm new to fretless but I must say I'm catching on quickly.
