Eh, why not?

The Strangeberger:

- Almost completely unoriginal. Moses neck, Rio Grande Pitbull pickups, Yamaha B1D pickup, gutted electronics. Only original parts are the body and the bridge. My favorite bass in all of creation - HUGE tone, balances perfectly, perfect action/neck shape, and it's got a WHAMMY BAR!

The Ovation Magnum:

- Yanked out the frets, drilled out the fretboard dots, filled the slots and dots with ebony, gutted the electronics, remagnetized the dead pickups, carved an ebony nut, replaced the tuners with a lightweight Schaller set, set it up as a fanned scale (35"-33.5"). Sounds like a cross between an EB-0 and a Rickenbacker.

My EBMM Sterling, made in 2001, bought off a forum 3-4 months back. My intonation still needs a lot of work, but thats the fun part aint it? Is membership closed already?

Body - ash in high gloss polyester.
Pickguard - shell.
Neck - maple.
Fretboard - lined 22-fret pao ferro fretless.
Bridge - piezo with nickel plated brass saddles.
Pickup - single musicman humbucker.

Hey dudes - guess I should ask for a number too - my lovely custom Jeff Chapman 5 string is still going strong. A really fabulous bass made from a single piece of African mahogany with a nice thick slab of ebony for the fingerboard - it has a pretty basic EMG circuit and pups - but it sounds and plays awesome.
