I work for these guys, yes there is a meaning, in the logo you can find the shape of every letter that spells "Toyota". If there actually is some evil conspiracy behind it I guess I don't have the clearance...

This is from the company's website.

There are three ovals in the new logo that are combined in a horizontally symmetrical configuration. The two perpendicular ovals inside the larger oval represent the heart of the customer and the heart of the company. They are overlapped to represent a mutually beneficial relationship and trust between each other.

The overlapping of the two perpendicular ovals inside the outer oval symbolize "T" for Toyota, as well as a steering wheel, representing the vehicle itself. The outer oval symbolizes the world embracing Toyota. Each oval is contoured with different stroke thicknesses, similar to the "brush" art known in Japanese culture.

The space in the background within the logo exhibits the "infinite values" which Toyota conveys to its customers: superb quality, value beyond expectation, joy of driving, innovation, and integrity in safety, the environment and social responsibility.

I think they are on drugs. :wacky:

Nah, it's just s stylised Buffalo head :)
Should have kept it just for the LandCruiser range.

Ain't no thunk about it. Probably also involved rice wine.
But then if you ever sat in a meeting all day trying to come up with a deparment mission statement, then this isn't so far fetched. The closer it gets to 5 O'clock, the weirder things get 'cause everyone wants to go home.
One time we voted on and approved, at 4:50 pm, "Do less if we must, but do it first class."
I laughed so hard, I never got invited back to another one of those meetings.
I still have that posted over my desk. It comes in handy when someone wants me to do something like go to a mission statement meeting.

Oh.... I tried brother! They know I'm onto them resulting in constant government harassment. Local inspectors measuring the height of my grass, constant pullovers and vehicle searches, state and federal tax audits, and even 2 AM interpol threats. I can't really say much more for the safety of my family, but unless you want to eat nothing but Swiss Cheese, even on pizza's, I'd advise you HORD CHEDDAR new and aged!!!
