The Great Bass Preamp/DI Comparison

Going to seek some advice here. Hope that's ok. This board is about to be rebuilt with a DC7 incoming.
This board is set up so that the tones coming out of the DI of the VTBD are how O like them to sound on the PA. The 1/4 out goes to the GEB7 which I use as a gain stage and EQ for either IEM, to a powered wedge, or power amp etc so I can leave the VT alone.
Obviously when going to an amp I don't need cab sims or what ever, but to a FRFR wedge or IEM etc it would be nice.
What products should I be considering to replace the GEB7? I seem to try and avoid Preamp stacking generally but that might change. I've tried the spark booster which I love but I'm not liking how it's working with the hotter output that the VT is dialled in with. Any thoughts appreciated.

Anyone know what the EQ points are on the be Particle Accelerator? I've done some searching but haven't found them.

I saw your message, I promise I'm not ignoring you :P I don't know off the top of my head and I haven't even turned on my computer today, I'll get it for you tonight :)

What if I want a preamp/DI (XLR out) with 3 recallable presets for my 3 basses?

I know there’s a 3 preset SansAmp but I’ve never really gotten along with SansAmp in the past. Of course, I didn’t like P basses back then either. Maybe worth another try?

Any others out there?

Ok, this sounds really good to me, that tube amp sheen and punch in a pedal. Mids sound really good.
I sent the YouTube vid audio through my WD-800/H1203’s and it sounds like it has some potential. I would like to hear a bass player with fingers though and a bit more structure to the setting changes.

Nothing wrong with the SLO. It’s no slouch.
The only thing slightly wrong if you live on a different continent is that you may order one and find yourself looking at the same "processed for export" tracking update two months later!
I'll be interested to reply to whoever that was a few pages ago asking about the SLO vs. VT Bass DI when I can. My instinct says you're in grass is greener territory there... I've kept the VT DI since I bought it (6 or so years ago?) just in the event I wanted to track a super Ampeg part, but I have never used it. I plug it in and shoot it out with other rig combinations and it never wins to my ears. As always... ymmv.

At least now that I've checked back on in this thread I'm glad I put off trying the Arkham in favor of the Shift Line; a DI Oracle will be a no-brainer purchase.
