Don't get me wrong, a nice bass certainly helps, but with my little Roscoe/G&L Tribute experiment last week, I found a lesser bass into quality processing gear can stand alongside something 10 times it's price. Kinda of eye opening and disappointing at the same time.
I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a G&L L2000 or some other similar, really versatile bass that can cover a range of bass tones. But now you have me questioning my entire line of reasoning.
