The Great Jeezy Bass Off!!!

I'm digging that roadster though. The glarry's kinda like the wonder bass huh? Something for everything. I bet it's brutal with rounds on it.
I found that roadstar on ebay for 250 including shipping. That was a score! I have never bonded with ibanez pickups of any kind.
The phats are cool.
Glarry is a workbench. Fun with a cheap bass. And a way to join a cool club. Slinkies are better for sure but i decided to run the black beauties till i see some metal.... (starting to but not by the pick oddly).

Oh, those are beauties. Ha, I thought they were tapes. I guess it's just got that natural woody twang to it then. Dope

Unfortunately I'm out of town for the next month with only my P Bass. I'll practice my demo lick so when I get back I can set up for recording and hit a single take demo.

I use cobalts and black beauties. Love that the black beauties punch but have a great mellow tone
Yah, i liked the Beauties sound but they gave me a rug burn sensation with fast/long slides. I typically dont like changing strings a bunch and i was hoping to keep the beauties on longer but the Plastic feel drove me nuts as well as the “rug burn”.
They look pretty sweet though!!

It's funny, I spend so many hours here and I never saw this thread.

I'll do it during the weekend. This sounds fun.

My basses are:

- Hamer Cruise, Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pups, DR Black Beauties.
- Yamaha Pulser 400, stock pups, TI Jazz Flats.
- Yamaha BBPH, stock pups, TI Jazz Flats.
- Serek Midwestern, Guild Bisonic pups, DR HI Beams.
- Maruszczyk Sputnik, Aguilar 5SD-D2 pups, TI Jazz Flats.

I need to put some on my AP-5, the EMGs are really spicy and they're a great counter. I'm lucky to have really calloused fingers from my field of work. I actually think the cobalts have a much more rough texture lol the BBs feel silky smooth to me

Then you actually know what your doing,
I was a stage lighting guy till about 5 years ago. I got tiered of traveling and missing my family. It was easy to get some work where i live now just because I actually have work ethic and can use a tape measure and show up on time:)
