I'll try my best to get in with you guys soon. Heck, I rarely have time to TUNE all my basses at once, much less set up for a recording and play them all. But I'll see what I can't whip up this weekend. Cool idea Jeez.

I just finished putting together this Harley Benton short scale.. i modded it once with new pickups and pick guard, i just got done moving the split coil up a bit and added a mm style humbucker And of course had to make another pick guard.

I based the pickup placement off my kit bass (Loosely) so it should be an interesting comparison

now i just need to decide what to play without embarrassing myself too much

Nope, off the Roadstar II i gave one of my boys, i put a set of EMG geezers in that bass and the pot shafts were too big for them.

They fit right in with the kit bass.

It's funny how much bigger the MM body is. Haha. It's much more clear than the P bass, tone wise. More high/high mid. But, that goes either way depending on music style. It's great that they don't sound so similar, that you can't really tell the difference.

Oh man, that little Harley is a trip to play, if the neck wasn’t so wide it would feel like a toy. At the heal, that neck is wider than any of my other basses, its small but stocky.
not my favorite bass but its fun to play.

Right on bro. I love your basses though. Price doesn't mean anything besides what you want to pay for.

I've never heard a bad pickup. Only different.

Maruszczyk Jake, chambered, 3 way switch, stack tone+volume, pickups are Kloppmann P and MEC single.

Quick audio sample, recording by phone mic. Amp is a BB800 completely flat through a PJB C4. Very transparent. Strings are TI Flats. Tone and Volume 100%.
