I replaced the Barts on my Tobias with Lane Poor and found them to be much more growly and rude which is how I like it...
Lane Poor is out of business isn't he? I know he made great pickups, but I don't know how you could get one.

Just did some research and found that it was nathan east.
Very likely he was playing his custom or signature bass.
Probably big singles.
That surprises me. I would've bet money that's a synthesizer, not a bass.

"Soapbar" is just the shape of the case...
You have stacked-coil soapbars, split-coil soapbars, dual-soapbars, etc... They all growl pretty differently...
