The Haiku Thread

nothing spoils a good
Haiku like having just one
Too many syllables
It's possibly even worse when the same category of error is made with the Limerick form:

There was a young man from Japan
Whe wrote poems that didn't quite scan
When asked to say why
He would give this reply
"It's because I always like to try and cram as many words into the last line as I possibly can."
