The Ibanez Club

Screw it. If theres no one willing to become head of this club and maybe give out some numbers, i say we should apply the following rules for this club as long as we all agree:

Anyone can be a member as long as they have a pic of themselves with the bass as proof... no pic, no bass, no membership....
That way we can all be regular members and there wont be any need for numbers...
No numbered members means we can all be equal, and no one would be more or less than anyone else in the club... that means there wouldnt be anyone leading the club.. Get it?

So if u already posted a pic of your bass just post the page and the post number where the pic is.. if it is just a pic of the bass, try to take a pic of yourself with the bass and post it wich would be way better..
Now, about the signature, i thought maybe we can write something insted of just "Ibanez Club Member" ... maybe we can rename the club as Ibanez Owners Club so that way we can write something like "Proud Member of the IOC" wich looks and sounds better i think :p ....
But this is all i can think of now maybe you guys have better ideas than me so go ahead and tell me what u guys think? Would you agree to this if not write your own opinions or anything!!! Well let me know!!!!!!!!! :D

Great idea! I love it. That definitely does set us apart from the other clubs. IOC does have a nice ring to it. Im down with this idea, anyone else?

yeah i think thats a fine idea, i was kidding about the anti-# thing. i was just saying that someone has to come up with something, otherwise were all just gonna be in this thread forever waiting for someone to hand out numbers.

i dont think we do PM anyone, because there is no one to give out numbers. i think basically you just post your pic and then put pround member of the IOC in your sig, if that is in fact what we have come up with. i like it myself. i dont really want to go through 50 pages to find my bass, so here it is again.

Have I even posted my RD in this thread? I can't remember (too lazy to look through all the pages). Anyways, here she is! I'm in the photo too seeing as that seems to be the rule! :) Please excuse my ******** face...

Cool well here is mine too. "The Purple Express" is a 1995 Ibanez TR-505 that has been relic-ed (slightly), had the stock active pre taken out and wired up passive V-V-T, and i am actually going to have a new neck and finger ramp built soon. But it is still an Ibanez and i love it.

The name is mixture of a joke between me and an old room mate of mine and a story from a joni mitchell recording session that the dean of my old music school played flugelhorn (sp?) on. apparently joni passed out all the music and gave everyone a few minutes to look over thier charts and then starts to count off the song. with out skipping a beat she counts "1,2..." then turns to the horns and says to them "Play something PURPLE... 3,4" and away they went. since then i have kinda looked at music interms of colors. Purple being the funkiest of colors, IMHO, I decided to name my baby "The Purple Express"

I've always wanted a purple bass... like, literally purple though, not just funky. :p

like a purple heart single cut with Flame maple/purpleheart neck and a purpleheart fret board?. I have been mulling somehting like this over for quite a while? Any one have any purpleheart Ibanez's?!?!?!
