That looks like a fun project. If the neck is ok, it sure doesn't need much.

The neck looks good. It has a Thunderbird pickup in it. He told me it also had a Bartolini preamp in it as well.

That's too bad. It would be an outstanding bass guitar to play in a band with attitude problems.

This thread is fun! Great stuff. I never stickerd the case but i did the Amp. I got a Vans sicker but this was my favorite from my friend that owns a studio in Austin for Yoga. (And it surely applies)

I've only seen one other Snake sticker like that and that goes back quite a long ways to my earliest days playing music on the east coast. That Dean Markley sticker is older than dirt, too. Memory lane.

@LBS-bass when I read your post I remembered having the Whirlwind "Snake" sticker on something. Re-arranging a shelf today I found it. I used this cosmetic case for cords and such in the 1980s:

Whirlwind's printer apparently used good ink and adhesive on those. The ubiquitous Dean Markley sticker is there too.

That is one funky cool case, Humbled.

That's the best argument for stickers: They unearth those old associations that we (or at least I) tend to forget with each passing jam, gig, year or sometimes even friend.
