First time with in ears.
Laid a few eggs in the first service.
(I'll blame it in not having the balance right).
What IEM model did you choose and did you like it?

I got KZ ZS6 quad driver earbuds on the recommendations of several people from another forum. What IEM model did you choose and did you like it?
they look pretty massive. Not heavy?I got KZ ZS6 quad driver earbuds on the recommendations of several people from another forum.
I upgraded the cord (highly recommended) and got some New Bee replacement tips (nicer, and they don't come off in your ear canal requiring the use od needle nose pliers to get them out).
They work well for me, and don't cost an arm and a leg.

These are upgraded from when I ordered with metal casings instead of plastic, so they might be a tad heaver than mine.they look pretty massive. Not heavy?
congratulations !!!, tooIt’s here and I had a chance to play it last night. I posted a thread here NBD! Smith BT4 1984
Got a question for my Smith brothers, I gigged last week and notice no sound from my Smith while in active mode. No problem, let's go passive (sounds so good), nothing in active, sound in passive, any ideas?
Not many guys in town I trust to look at it, so before i contact Ken, I wanted to see if any of you guys experienced this before. It's a BSR5P bubinga wings w/ tiger maple core.
Thanks for the help guys.
I'd strongly recommend keeping that coffee mug away from the console faders..I went to the studio with my BT4 last weekend. We recorded a cover of Donald Fagen’s Morph The Cat. The bass sounded exactly the same as Freddie Washington’s! Can’t say the playing was quite as good though! We did a video so I’ll upload it when it’s all edited.

Of course. Tea. What was I thinking.
A true English Gentleman only drinks Assam in the studio
"Presumably you’ve changed the battery; so I’d be looking for a loose wire from the battery connector or the jack? Should be fairly easy to spot."
Thanks for the suggestion Ped, Yes I did install a new battery last night at rehearsal. I just check the control cavity and all seems to be connected. Here's a quick pic of it. The Jack connections are secured, the battery seems to be fine, but I will look closer int0 it. View attachment 3537560

Ok, i had a chance to gig the bass on yesterday. "NOTHING", in active mode. Erik, i tried to fix you suggested. So I'm believing it's the preamp. So I'm going to reach out to Ken to see what we can do.
One question, 9v or his new 18v system. I run this bass flat, no tweaking, and it gives me all the Smith tone for days. Thanks for the advice guys.
