Those, Are some MIGHTY Fine basses.
Your Dukes are exceptionally clean... most dukes you see now days are totally chipped up, and covered in Harley Davidson/Bomber pinup stickers.
Not yours

Your 6000B complements that MusicMan Rig quite nicely.
It's probably just as rare. :D

Thanks - everyone needed work when I got them - love those Dukes. Had the red one first - bad coil. Picked up the black one for the pu. It was in ok shape so modded that one for fun and use it all the time as my main bass. The cream one happened to see it on cl on Maui. Been sitting in a closet for years - cleaned up nice though. Made my own thumb rest to replace the plastic one. 6000B had a bad coil in non-stock pu's too. Replaced with DiMarzios so pretty close to back to stock.

Na - see those heads all over. Was my first bass amp. Made the cab later on to kinda match the head. Have since found a logo plate for the head. Good fun combo for playing the blues.

Kramers Rock! Still can't wait to get ahold of a 650B someday.....

I'm sure one will pop up some day. ;)

Ah, that makes sense.... and Dimarzio's are nicer then the OEM pickups. Often Schallers... which were made by Dimarzio back in the day for a bit. Just not all as "nice" as Dimarzio's primary line.

Either way.... nice work!

Thanks all,
LOL - Wish I'd seen the poker thread, with my pair of Jazz's that would have made a full house! :bassist:
David
...lol, ya I thought you might have had a few more basses over there...

I consider a "full house" at least THIS :D

(sorry David, I just HAD to say it )

the ONLY Kramer I own so far is a 88-89 F3 on the floor on the left.

.
I bought it from a fellow TB'er, and it is a great guitar. It does feel and sound different than the others which made me even more interested to buy it. If I ever see a MIJ F series again in the right color, I'd pick it up. I would not want to use it as my main bass BECAUSE of the tone difference, but if it was all I had, I would still be happy from it's playability and would change out the pickups ;)

... Only Kramer YET..... :D

It'd love Schaller pickups, if you ever decided to swap em out..
The Charvels won't give up their spot in my jamroom for any more Kramers to come into the house...... "YET"

someday I'll have all 4 "F" series Kramers in the jamroom, just not today, because as you can see with that picture, I did that with the 4 "B" series from Charvel, but a lot of their friends wanted to join the party and the spares kept adding up :(
