well I used it at practice today, and it sounds better than the white one...must be the different pup in the black one

The people at the factory put the string tree on half-a**'ed because it works but does not sit square with the head, and the tone knob needs replacing but overall it's in good condition and when I was stringing it up the TR turns still ...

to satisfy my curiosity, if you wanted just to use the p only, why'd you take the j/switch/knob out instead of just making them useless in the wiring? I always liked the striker body, and wished it would have been more popular in a pointyhead 
p.s. is that thing really pink or is it just the light because I have one that turns really pink in certain light.

I wanted the switch gone cuz I kept hitting it with my picking hand.. And I totally gutted, shielded, and re-wired it, so I wasn't going to put useless parts back in it.
I'm not done modding it by any means..
It's candy apple red, but my crappy camera makes it look pink. I kinda wish it was pink.
If I ever re-finish it, I'm totally painting the headstock to match like that. ^^
