The Kramer Club

Kramer 12 String Bass?

That made me sit up.... Could I see pictures of it, please?

You may certainly get a number, #40, edpal.

I've actually never heard of the Kramer Factory making a 12 String Kramer... so wow me! :)

EDIT.... i've heard of ONE, and it was totally custom made. Is yours a blueish/purple Single Cut bass, with a pointy headstock? Think Telecaster body, and a million switches.

here's a cool LUMIE 12 stringer...who CARES if it says Kramer on it or not, but I WANT to also see the customShop Kramer 12stringer :)

:atoz:Oh smack me -Hamer not Kramer. Yes the aluminum one was Kramer, this is 12 is a Hamer. It's been a long day...I feel like such a ditz. I was looking for the Hamer club and got sidetracked looking at the metal necked Kramers. You are back to #39

Hello!

Welcome to the club. We got a few similarities of influences.

You get #41.

Not met too many other bass players who listed Pat Badger as an influence. :D

P.S. Why not also check out the new Kramer Stiker thread i started?

Wow! Sorry to hear about the neck problems. I've never had any trouble with mine. It's hard to imagine that an aluminum neck could be unstable. Nice Ric!!!

Cheers,
Jim

One of the selling points with those basses was , the aluminum neck won't warp. Problem was, some of them were not straight to begin with. I knew of a guy who had one, and the reapairman actually had to melt the aluminum to straighten the neck.

Hey, thanks! I will wear my #41 with pride! Just about to check out your Striker thread...you like Kramers and Pat Badger, too, you're all right with me! He's underrated--that man has the FUNK!

The bodys look pretty fugly.... but if they looked like Normal Forum Bodys then we'd never know the difference :(

Thats what, your third ZX70?
ya #3, and "if they looked like Normal Forum Bodys then we'd never know the difference" << haha ya new model for the Kramer ComeBack!!!!....2011 Forum-ZX using the cheapest hardware from China available for 299.95.

the funny thing is that plywood just has such a weird resonance to it with only 1 pup, even if it was a nice sculptured body, it would still sound like a POS..I'm only buying them for the necks to drop on my Charvel parts basses. This neck will go on my red 1b parts bass.

I'll have 2 ZX bodies up for sale soon..that horrible grey one and now this black one.

The white with the matching headstock is staying as-is cause that's the one I like :)
