Hey guys I don't own my Kramer anymore but I'm still in the dark as to what it was. It was (galaxy?) black with "dual rail" pick ups, gotoh tuners, reversed hockey stick headstock, neck thru, 5 string and it had a tone selector. I haven't seen anything like it before or since

Very nice,I love my "Lumie" and that they stick out from the pack of Fender looking basses.I don't think I've ever seen the aluminum exposed on the end of your fretless fingerboard,can't tell from the pic,was it that way from the factory?
I'll take a number too when it's convenient please,here's mine.I bought mine used for $450 in the 70's,the pic's from the 80's.It's the only bass I've kept,when things got tite in the 90's I sold my old Kay uprite and my fretless Fender P,but I'd keep my old 650B even if I had to live in a van down by the river!!!

OK, this is a slow reply (sorry). The exposed metal at the end of the fretless fingerboard is a " clank bar" - a piece of stainless I fabricated. It allows me to slap/pop without tearing up the end of the fingerboard.

No.

A Baretta neck is a Gibson made guitar, and a Forum IV neck will not fit on it or vice versa without significant modification.

DMZ4000, I think. My wife bought it from her brother about 30 years ago. It's now my one-and-only. It's 99 percent stock, as far as I know. I cleaned out some goopy finish from the neck heel/pocket, improving action considerably....

The eyes are from a Boy Scout woodcarving kit ca. 1968.

If you're still offering numbers, I'll be happy to take one!

My Lumi now in working order. Need some knobs and probably move back to a passive setup once I choose one. The EMG is a stopgap experiment. SN A3619. Would like to know more about this since I have never seen another like it.

I found a Fluorescent Pink Kramer 700 STB in a pawnshop today. The bass in excellent condition, and they're asking $125 out the door. Is this the going rate on one of these basses? I couldn't plug it in cause they had no guitar cables in the store. If it a good bass for that price, I'll pick it up tomorrow. Thanks for the info in advance.

I need my Kramer Bass club # . I did end up getting the '88 Fluorescent Pink Striker 700 ST bass. I got the bass, Fender Tweed case, 2 guitar cables, and bass strap. A deal I couldn't pass up. Anyway, here are my pics.

What you have is actually a Kramer 250B. The previous owner sawed off the horns and looks like they shaved the butt. It also was repainted. Assuming the pickguard is original but re-routed for the humbucker, the bass started as a natural bass with black pickguard. They came with a Kramer hand wound, wax potted pickup with chrome pickup cover with Kramer engraved on it. Also looks like they did some decal or work on the neck. Necks on these had dot markers if I remember correctly.
