Hey - I watched a movie the other night that I figure would be interesting to many of us in this club. It's called Soldier's Girl and is based on a true story of an army soldier who falls in love with an entertainer who is transitioning to becoming a woman. It's a nice little love story with a sad, but predictable ending. Check it out if you are interested.

Very cool stuff here. I'm straight but a strong advocate of LGBT issues including same sex marriage rights, anti-discrimination, etc.

We've come a long way as a society, but we still have a long way to go.

For anyone in the Boulder, CO area, please check out http://www.outboulder.org. A great organization that does great things.

What the world needs now is love sweet love, peace. respect, tolerance, and just generally more good vibes for all. So count me in as another straight but friendly to all bass guitar players. Just continue to strive to be your best amazing self and I will too.

(I haven't told the racist, homophobic kid that plays banjo in our bluegrass group at school yet though...maybe I should do it on stage...)
