The LOOPING Club

Maybe see if I can get this going for a bit again.

As you can see above and in my signature I used to have what I consider the ultimate looping setup using Ableton as I have yet to see one better (but would love to.)

I moved and decided to try something new instead of setting all that up again. So, I sold all of my recording gear and made this new looping setup:

It has a drum machine going into a Jamman Solo XT into a Saturnworks summing device into the bass amp with the other Jamman output going into a super old tiny bass amp.

Bass pedal board into Jamman Express XT into the Saturnworks summing device into the bass amp.

Guitar pedalboard into A/B switcher. A/B switcher into Saturnworks panning device and into second A/B switcher input. Saturnworks panning device into two Saturnworks summing devices. Second A/B switcher outputs into each of their own Jamman Express XTs into the two Saturnworks summing devices. Saturnworks summing devices into each guitar amp.

All the Jammans are linked together and sync with each other.

Just record the drums to the Solo XT, loop it, and loop and jam to your hearts content. Stereo drums, bass, guitars out of each amp, and a third stereo guitar out of both amps (not hooked up to a looper but you could.)

Super fun!!!

Wow. Not dissimilar to the setup I'm imagining, except at the moment I'm picturing the Jamsync master being an Sdrum (digitech).

I goof around with live looping a bit, though lately I’ve been sampling/sequencing bass parts into tunes, but here’s a couple jams done with a modest pedalboard and an EHX 95000 looper. I don’t use drum machines or anything...every sound is made using the bass
